The Story Behind 'The Airport Chaplain'

'The Airport Chaplain' is a new Australian drama series on SBS/ SBS On Demand/ Netflix.

The idea for this series came about following an interaction with our chaplain at the time, Martyn, and a producer who had lost her handbag. Martyn assisted and supported her through the situation, which ultimately inspired Wooden Horse to develop the story into a drama series. It was the search and recovery of the lost bag and further conversation with our airport chaplain at the time, sparked the idea for this series!
